Annual SARDA Tack Sale
Our annual Tack Sale is one of SARDA’s biggest fundraising events of the year — and it’s a favourite on the local horsey calendar!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we receive donations of all kinds of horse tack, riding gear, and equestrian accessories throughout the year. Our volunteers then clean, sort, and store everything until the last Sunday of the September/October school holidays, when it all comes out on display for eager shoppers to browse and buy. It’s a true win-win — great bargains for riders and vital funds for our riding programme!

Bargain hunters at our Tack Sale on 5th October.
· Bits, bridles, halters and lead ropes
· Blankets, rugs and covers
· Saddles, stirrups and girths
· Jackets, jodhpurs and shirts
· Hay nets, cleaning gear, brushes — and much more!
Our amazing volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes — cleaning, pricing, setting up, and offering friendly advice on the day.
And of course, no SARDA event is complete without delicious food! The barbecue fires up early with egg and bacon baps and sausages, alongside tea, coffee, soft drinks, and a range of sweet treats to keep everyone happy. Don’t miss our famous raffles either — this year we had 3 large buckets overflowing with chocolate goodies, a luxury pharmacy pamper hamper and lotto prizes to tempt you even further!
The BBQ crew are ready to serve.
So, what better way to spend a Sunday morning? All this for just a gold coin entry — supporting a great cause while scoring some fantastic deals.
